Instructions for an Authorized IOLITE Nexus Connector Reseller

Congratulations for becoming a Nexus Reseller!  We're glad to have you on our team to help showcase this amazing technology for your Salesforce customers!

We want to make the onboarding of your customers as simple as possible - and so we've set up a simple tool to record the deal.  Once you've completed this step - we'll take it from there - and get your customer up and running quickly.

Once you complete your Authorized Reseller Agreement - you will have to designate a representative (or representatives) who will be responsible for logging deals in the IOLITE Reseller Resource Center.  This representative (or representatives) will receive a private, custom link to a deal registration page on the IOLITE Solutions website. Once you've received your custom link, please bookmark the link: 

 
The top of your Deal Registration form contains the same instructions included here.   Please fill out the Company Information section of the Deal Registration.  Note that one of the fields required here is the Salesforce Org ID.  The Company's Salesforce Administrator should know how to get this information.  However - if needed, the instructions for gathering this piece of information is also included in this WIKI below.   

 

Fill out all the details on the page. We do require that all fields be completed on this form - as all of this information is needed to initiate the software installation. 

We require the purchasing company's Name and billing address, the Salesforce Administrator name and email (Note: this will be the individual we will send the installation instructions to - so this information must be correct and the Salesforce Administrator identified will be expected to complete the steps to install the Nexus package.  

We also require billing information so that in the event of a direct billing requirement - we have a contact point at the company to provide that information to.  It is possible to indicate that the Salesforce Contact can also serve as the Billing Contact by checking the checkbox on the form.  If needed, select the appropriate product for the customer. We must also receive the Org ID of the Salesforce instance for which the software is being installed.

If the Customer does not know how to provide this information, have them follow these steps:

1. Log into Salesforce with Admin credentials.

2. Navigate to Setup (via the gear widget)

3. Type Company Info in the quick find bar inside Setup

4. Find the Org ID on the Company Info page (at the bottom right)

5. Have the customer copy/paste this data and email or otherwise send the data to you. This field is case sensitive, and the cryptic and random characters are prone to transcription errors. This data is important to make sure we get the software installed into the correct Salesforce instance.

6. Copy/paste this information into the appropriate field on the Deal Registration form.

 

That's it!  Submit the form - and we'll take care of the rest.
